New Pistol? Should I?

So, lately I've been strongly considering picking up a new carry pistol. Looking at the Springfield XD Sub-Compact 40. Yeah, I can shoot the cap off a Sprite bottle with my Bersa, but let's face it - the 380 isn't exactly a powerhouse. I really want something that is more powerful, and the XD SC has that and is about the same size as my Bersa, but holds 2 more rounds that are much more powerful, and that's the short mag. Ammo availability is another big thing, too.

Now, the only thing I have to do is confirm in my mind it's worth the $500 price tag. Thoughts anyone?
